Green Tree Columbus was founded in 2012 and has grown into a full-service tree & landscaping company in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. Meet The Owner, Joshua Griffiths
Starting his career in law enforcement, Josh continues to serve the community, working with his trained K9 "Madison" who is certified in narcotics detection work.
Wanting a change, Josh went to work for his brother-in-law in the tree industry. Josh learned about trees, stump grinding and tree health while working with that company. Expanding his knowledge base learning landscaping techniques, Josh started Green Tree with a desire to ensure high quality work and excellent customer service that provides solutions to all your outdoor needs.
To further his knowledge, Josh has taken classes and received training for tree health and landscaping techniques. He was one of the first to spot Oak Wilt in Ohio in 2018.
Eco-Friendly
Our eco-friendly process is to only remove a tree as a last resort. When all other options have failed or the tree presents a danger - we will remove the tree and recycle most of the wood and tree stumps into usable mulch. Wood that is not recycled is donated to people who need it for burning, to heat their house.

Upon his inspection he informed me why the wall had collapsed. He also informed me of steps that should have been done when the wall was installed. His crew came out uninstalled their wall, used the same block to save us money and rebuilt the wall. It is holding strong and looks better than it ever did."
